What is lightweight steel frame construction?

Lightweight steel frame is a building method that uses cold-formed galvanised steel sections to form the structural skeleton of a building, in place of brick-and-mortar walls or heavy concrete frames. The frame is engineered off-site to millimetre tolerances, delivered to site and assembled quickly, then clad and insulated to create the finished wall, floor and roof assemblies.
