Located within a conservation area, the design of the house included the utilization of locally sourced rock in the creation of thermally massive walls, rainwater harvesting and orientation taking advantage of the surrounding natural beauty. The house is modern and open in plan, but maintaining an aesthetic balance with surrounding built context.
