The Cube Shade is an experimental project pushing the boundaries of the use of lightweight steel. The aim of the project is to question the shape, function and material of a conventional shade roof. The design consists of a structure contrasting the strict perpendicular geometry of the existing building on which it is constructed. The entire structure is prefabricated as a kit of parts and assembled on site.
