Our team implemented an innovative construction technique by utilizing light-weight steel framing to add two additional floors to an existing building.
This approach offered several benefits, one of which was the ability to avoid costly and time-consuming foundation strengthening.
The use of light-weight steel as the primary structural material allowed us to achieve vertical expansion while maintaining the structural integrity of the original building.
Furthermore, we incorporated an advanced insulation system into the building design. This strategic choice resulted in significant savings on the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system throughout the building's lifetime. Optimizing energy efficiency, we were able to reduce operational costs and enhance sustainability.
The building was erected by Flowmack.
